Privacy Policy

The Short Version

Rizz Atlas does not require an account and does not sell your data. The only personal information we collect is a name and email address, and only if you choose to give them to us. The limited data described below exists to make subscriptions work and to keep the app running. This policy describes how Unhinged Ventures ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Rizz Atlas mobile application (the "App").

Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information directly. The App does not require registration or an account. The only personal information we collect is a name and email address, and only if you choose to give them to us.

Name and email address (optional). At one point during onboarding, and again in Settings, the App offers you the option to enter your email address — and, on the onboarding screen, your first name. If you choose to provide them, we store them so we can send you occasional product updates. This is entirely voluntary: the App is fully usable without it, and skipping it never restricts access to any feature. You can unsubscribe from any email we send, and we do not sell or share this information.

Purchase and subscription data. If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We use RevenueCat, a subscription management service, to validate purchases and manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase information (product purchased, purchase date, subscription status). This does not include your name, Apple ID, or payment details — Apple never shares those with us.

AI coach messages. When you use the in-app AI coach, the messages you type are sent to our server and processed by Anthropic (the provider of the Claude AI model) to generate a response. We do not store your conversations on our servers — chat history lives only on your device. Messages are not linked to your name or identity (we don't know it), and under Anthropic's commercial terms API conversations are not used to train their models.

Usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand how the App is used — events like which screens are opened and which features are tapped, tied to an anonymous app-generated identifier. This helps us see what's working and what isn't. It is never used for advertising.

Crash and diagnostic data. We use Sentry to collect crash reports and performance diagnostics (error details, device model, OS version) so we can find and fix bugs. Apple may additionally share aggregated, anonymized analytics through App Store Connect, subject to your device's analytics-sharing settings.

How We Use Information

We use the data described above solely to: provide access to paid features and verify subscription status, process and restore purchases, generate AI coach responses to your messages, understand which features are used so we can improve them, and diagnose crashes and improve App stability. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell or rent it to third parties, and we do not use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Data Storage

Your preferences, learning progress, and AI coach chat history are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain servers that store your personal content — AI coach messages pass through our server for processing but are not retained there. Deleting the App removes this local data.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third parties: Apple (App Store, payment processing, subscription billing — see apple.com/legal/privacy), RevenueCat (subscription validation — see revenuecat.com/privacy), Anthropic (AI coach responses — see anthropic.com/legal/privacy), Supabase (server infrastructure for the AI coach and storage of optional email signups — see supabase.com/privacy), PostHog (usage analytics — see posthog.com/privacy), and Sentry (crash reporting — see sentry.io/privacy). We do not integrate third-party advertising networks or social media SDKs.

Children's Privacy

The App is rated 17+ and is not intended for anyone under 17 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the App, contact us at the address below.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data associated with you. Because we collect no directly identifying information, in most cases there is no personal data for us to retrieve or delete; subscription data can be managed through your Apple ID settings. For any privacy request, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
